The allowance for a ceiling net is associated with an increase in height from the standard 3m to 4m. The ceiling net at the soccer court ensures that no ball can leave the playing field. The ceiling net construction does not have any crossbars within or above the playing field, which would disrupt gameplay or pose a risk during storms or inclement weather. The crossbar-free construction not only prioritizes safety and the option to dismantle the ceiling net if necessary, but also provides a visually appealing design. Maintenance has also been made easier, as there are no longer any steel crossbars. The installation of the ceiling net increases the overall height by one meter to 4m.
