Product information
Edelrid® Slings, 16 mm
Stitched loops by Edelrid are used in climbing for self-protection or as anchor slings. The sling is made of durable, abrasion-resistant polyamide and is 16 mm wide. The tensile strength or breaking load is 22 kN according to EN 566 standard.
The Edelrid anchor slings are available in the following lengths:
- Sling 60 cm long, weight 45 g
- Sling 120 cm long, weight 86 g
Anchor slings can also be used to extend between hooks and carabiners. During lead climbing, the sling is often used as an quickdraw as well.
