During the renovation of the triple sports hall at the Wörrstadt school centre, the sports equipment was completely renewed. Kübler Sport took care of the delivery and installation of swivelling ceiling-mounted basketball frames, swivelling wall-mounted basketball equipment, swivelling wall bars and a climbing rope system. The equipment is complemented by an electrically height-adjustable climbing wall, the lower part of which is raised when not in use and disappears behind the permanently mounted wall. This ensures controlled use in school and club sports.

Background & Objectives

The renovation of the sports hall at the Wörrstadt school centre has created a sustainable infrastructure for school and club sports in the Alzey-Worms district. Instead of completely rebuilding the structure, the existing Mero space frame was retained and integrated into a comprehensively modernised overall concept. The façade, roof and floor were insulated, and the sports area was equipped with radiant ceiling heating and LED lighting. The sanitary areas are barrier-free, with height-adjustable facilities for inclusive children. The hall meets current sports education and technical requirements and offers optimal conditions for training and teaching.
