A versatile sports ground for public recreational use
Project description
At SportPark Mottbruch in Gladbeck, a versatile outdoor activity area has been created that brings together a variety of sports in a public space. The project includes the installation of robust, weather-resistant equipment for fitness, games and athletics. This comprises several pieces of outdoor fitness equipment, a professional Teqball table and an IAAF-certified high jump facility. The installation was carried out in accordance with the design specifications of the City of Gladbeck and taking into account the specific requirements for long-term use in outdoor spaces.

Background & Objectives
SportPark Mottbruch forms part of the city’s development initiatives centred around the Mottbruchhalde and is intended to serve as a freely accessible space for exercise and socialising. The facility has created a place that combines sporting activity, a pleasant environment and recreation in natural surroundings. The aim of the city of Gladbeck was to create a low-threshold facility for different age groups – ranging from leisure and health-related sport to club-based sporting activities.
