The ADS Conference 2026 will take place from April 22 to 24, 2026, at the Willingen Visitor Center. It begins on Wednesday at 2:30 PM and ends on Friday at 12:00 PM. For early arrivals, the optional program starts on April 21, 2026, at 8:00 PM with the ADS regulars’ table, and on April 22, 2026, at 9:00 AM with ADS Active. The ADS General Assembly 2026 will also take place at the Visitor Center on April 22 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. ADS members will receive the official invitation with the agenda shortly.

 

The preliminary program offers participants exciting specialist lectures, including Sven Voss on the topic of sports visibility, Stephan Leyhe on sports facilities and events, Babette Kibele on sports promotion, and Patrick Herrmann on communication and leadership. Other key topics include volunteering, disability sports, environment and climate, all-day care (GaFöG), decarbonization, and artificial intelligence.

The 7th Hessian Gymnastics and Sports Congress will take place from June 19 to 21, 2026, in Frankfurt am Main. As the largest continuing education event for organized sports in Hesse, the congress is organized by the Hessian Gymnastics Association (HTV) and the Hesse State Sports Federation.

 

The event venue is the area around Otto-Fleck-Schneise in Frankfurt City Forest, particularly the Hesse State Sports School Frankfurt. In 2026, the congress will take place in summer for the first time, allowing for an expanded outdoor program. Participants can expect over 200 workshops in gymnastics, fitness, health sports, children’s gymnastics, and club management. Special highlights include a joint sports evening and a summer festival on June 20, 2026. Registration has been open since February 1, 2026.

 

The congress is primarily aimed at instructors, trainers, and staff from sports clubs and offers numerous practical continuing education opportunities.

The 23rd Saxon Sports Teachers’ Day will take place on September 10 and 11, 2026, at Sportpark Rabenberg and represents the annual highlight of our continuing education activities. The event is organized in cooperation with the State Office for School and Education and is held under the motto “Between Tradition and Modernity.” Both traditional sports and modern games and movement activities will be addressed.

 

As the largest subject-specific continuing education event for sports teachers in Saxony, the Sports Teachers’ Day offers two varied days of professional development with over 15 workshops, three theory seminars, and individually selectable program options. Participants also benefit from modern sports facilities, practical speakers from everyday school life, intensive experience exchange, and comprehensive catering including overnight accommodation. Digital handouts and teaching materials for members, as well as many other program elements, complete the event.
