The Light Futsal Ball is ideal for children up to 12 years old, weighing approximately 360 g (Light) or 300 g (S-Light). Conventional Futsal balls typically weigh around 410-430 g. These weight-reduced Futsal balls are made of glossy high-tech PU material and have the standard Futsal football size, which is roughly equivalent to size 4 in traditional football. These Light balls by Derbystar consist of thirty-two hand-sewn panels, ensuring a stable shape and an appealing design. Futsal is the indoor football variant recognized by FIFA (FIFA World Federation). The Derbystar Futsal Light provides optimal shape stability and aerodynamics thanks to its special butyl bladder. Futsal

Unlike other variants of indoor soccer, Futsal is distinguished primarily by the absence of boards. The playing field is delimited by the lines of a handball court. It is played with 5 players per side (4 field players and 1 goalkeeper) on handball goals. The Futsal ball is low-bounce and has a circumference of at least 62 cm and up to 64 cm (compared to a soccer ball which has a circumference of 68 to 70 cm). The ball has relatively low pressure (0.6 to 0.9 bar overpressure compared to 0.6 to 1.1 bar overpressure for a standard size 5 soccer ball). Futsal has been played in official championships by the German Football Association (DFB), UEFA, and FIFA for several years. There is also a Futsal national team for men appointed by the DFB (German Football Association).
