BEX® Swedish Chess Kubb
The Viking throwing game "Kubb" is a strategic skill game from Scandinavia. The game is designed for two teams of 1 to 6 players each and symbolizes a battle where opposing groups fight for their king. Players attempt to knock down or "fell" the opponent's wooden blocks (Kubbs) with throwing sticks.
The traditional playing field size for Kubb is 5 by 8 meters. However, this size can be freely chosen depending on the players' abilities and can be marked out with boundary sticks. Kubb can be played on various surfaces such as grass, sand, snow, or solid ground. The king, located in the center of the playing field, must be the last one to be hit.
