Water polo is a team sport within the realm of swimming, where two teams compete against each other. The objective of the game is to score more goals than the opponent within 4 periods of 8 minutes each. A team consists of 7 players, including a goalkeeper. The game is played with two goals, each comprised of 2 goal posts and a crossbar. The nets must be slackly hung and enclose the entire goal area.
