Volley® Softball SOFTI

This foam ball impresses with its versatile applications. Whether in school, kindergarten, therapy, or rehabilitation - this ball can be found almost anywhere and is very popular with all age groups. The material of the ball is open-pored PUR soft foam, which makes it particularly soft and elastic. With its typical ELE 'elephant skin, the soft ball is also very robust and can be easily washed and disinfected after the sports lesson. This allows the class to be quickly moved outdoors in dry weather. Its low bounce and weight make it the ideal method ball for beginners in numerous ball sports.

Can these balls also be used in water?

No, because the balls absorb water and become soaked.

What colours does this softball come in?

This ball is available in blue, red, yellow, green, violet, and orange.

Can this ball also be used outdoors?

It can be used outdoors, but weather conditions may cause it to fade or, for example, absorb water in the rain. Additionally, abrasion on asphalt is naturally higher than on a sports hall floor. Therefore, we mainly recommend using the ball indoors.

What does elephant skin mean?

These balls have a PU cover with the typical ELE® coating from Volley®. This protects the foam but is elastic and can be squeezed and crumpled. It then returns to its original shape.

Are the balls suitable for the school playground?

The cover is quite thin. When used on asphalt, it wears out quickly, so the ball is not ideal for this.
