Volley® Soft Volleyball

The Volleyball with elephant skin is the ideal soft ball for beginners who are making their first contacts in the sport of volleyball, because the ball is very soft. This allows for the learning of the first volleyball techniques such as setting or bumping without pain - even if the ball is not hit optimally. The ball is durably elastic and has a very good bounce. The elephant skin coating on the surface of the ball provides a pleasant ball feeling. In addition, the coating is soft, hygienically washable and disinfectable. The interior of this Volley Softball consists of high-quality PU foam. This allows for easy deformation and squeezing of the ball. The rebound to the original position takes place in a matter of seconds. The grippy surface also gives the ball a longer lifespan than conventional soft balls.

Is this ball suitable for playing in water?

The ball has a small opening in the coating to allow air to escape and keep the ball as elastic as possible. However, this also causes it to fill with water, which usually results in deformation and damage.

Why is this softball more hygienic than comparable softballs?

Thanks to the typical ELE coating made of PU, the softball can be washed and disinfected after use. The coating prevents the foam from absorbing dirt and bacteria.

Can the ball be used outdoors?

No. Although the softball is more durable than open-pored foam balls without a coating due to its coating, it will not withstand rough surfaces like asphalt or grass for long.
