The wired timing system is suitable for sprint measurements as well as start-to-finish measurements on tracks up to 100 m in length. The recorded running times are captured, saved in CSV format, and can then be further processed, for example, with Excel or databases.

The photoelectric sensors are positioned on photo tripods. These allow flexible setup and are also suitable for slightly uneven surfaces. The maximum gate width is 6 m.

The system can be expanded depending on the intended use. Options include additional photoelectric sensors for split times, further cable lengths up to a maximum of 100 m in one piece, a start gate with contact, a PC-controlled start light, or large displays for spectators. Optional software upgrades to sprintWatch or sprintTrainer are also available, for example, for measuring section speeds as well as reaction and turn times.
