Tared throwing weight according to the competitive regulations of DRTV (German Lawn Power Sports and Tug-of-war Association). The throwing weight consists of a metal head, a handle, and the connecting chain in between. The head is made of cast iron, is tared, and has a swivel bearing for the chain. The length (measured from the center of the inside of the handle to the end of the weight head) is 50 cm.
