The Scoop Bat Set consists of 2 scoop bats made of multiply laminated plywood and 2 rubber balls. The bat blade is approximately 20 x 24 cm in size, perforated and lined for weight reduction. The bats' handles are wrapped with a synthetic leather grip tape. For the safety of other players, each bat is equipped with a safety strap. The weight of a bat is approximately 160 g.

The Speckbrett game is a tennis-like ball sport that has evolved from a simple leisure activity into a proper sport. Even today, the open city championship in various categories is played on around 40 Speckbrett courts in the Münsterland region. The playing field is slightly smaller than a tennis court, measuring 20 m in length and 9 m in width. In doubles, the court expands by half a meter on each side. The Speckbrett racket, also called Speckbrett, consists of a wooden board with a handle. The racket dimensions are a maximum of 50 x 20 cm. To keep the equipment as light as possible, the striking surface is grid-like with perforations.
