Bänfer® SUPER Soft Landing Mat
The reversible mat SUPER combines a soft floor mat and a landing mat.
Which side is used when?
The soft floor mat has a high penetration depth and thus strong damping properties. It is used for uncontrolled landings, for example with the entire body, or as fall protection. For sports with punctual landings, such as the dismount from the apparatus in gymnastics into the standing position, the landing mat is preferred. Landing mats are also recommended for dismounts with additional longitudinal axis rotation (e.g. somersault with twist). However, these mats do not provide sufficient cushioning for children with low body weight.
