The sports console wristband includes a chip that can store individual progress. Ideally, each user has a wristband with their own user profile. Before each run, the user can log in with their wristband at the corresponding reader on the sports console and then run directly on their personal profile. The profile stores all runs, awards stars, shows level-ups, and generates statistics from the results.

For physical education class, it makes life easier if each student has their individual profile stored on a wristband and logs in on the device for each new use. Additionally, the chip in the wristband can be read with an NFC-enabled phone in combination with the sportstation 2 app. This allows access to personal results even without the sportstation.
