Application

The Spitzner Therm Warmpack is heated in a standard baking sheet (50 x 70 cm or 40 x 60 cm) in a conventional warming cabinet (not microwave or water bath) to 70°C - max. 75°C - and maintained at this temperature. A few minutes before use, remove the Warmpack. The pack initially has a surface temperature of 70°C, which drops to 52°C within a few minutes. This heat is considered therapeutically highly effective and is maintained throughout the entire application. To administer treatment, the Warmpack is adapted to the patient. For hygienic reasons or to alleviate the initial contact heat, we recommend covering the Warmpack, e.g. with a single-use fleece. If the patient perspires, the cover material largely absorbs the moisture. The surface of the Spitzner Therm Warmpack is also liquid-repellent. After use, disinfect the Spitzner Therm Warmpack using commercially available alcohol-free disinfectants.
