Mountain pine is a typical tree of extreme locations. It grows firmly rooted in the mountains on rocks, just like on dunes in pure sand. The mountain pine, which grows only a few meters high, is a subspecies of the stone pine, a tree that can grow up to 25 meters high. Previously widely used to reforest deforested areas after windthrow. The smoking of pine needles and resin dates back to the Middle Stone Age and was already used for warming, as a strengthening and cleansing agent.

- Dosage: 15 - 30 ml per sauna infusion (approx. 1 ½ - 3 capfuls) are added to one liter of water
