The spruce (also known as red fir) is distributed throughout the entire northern hemisphere. It reaches heights of up to 60 meters and can live between 250 and 300 years. A mature tree carries approximately 5 million needles. It is an important wood supplier due to its rapid growth, being harvested after only 80 to 120 years. In the past, the bark, with its tannin content, was an important ingredient for tanners. In England, the spruce shoots were used to brew spruce beer. Native Americans used spruce needle oil to treat scurvy and as a repellent against pests.

- Dosage: 15 - 30 ml per sauna infusion (approx. 1 ½ - 3 cap fillings) are added to one liter of water
- Evaporates without leaving residue
- Use only in combination with cold water
- Stir mixture well on the hot sauna stones immediately before each infusion
- Keep out of reach of children
- Please store at room temperature, not exceeding 25° C
