The combination of billiards and soccer is played with soccer balls in size 3 (Ø 18-19 cm) or size 4 (Ø 20-21 cm). A set of Soccerpool consists, like in traditional billiards, of seven "Stripes," seven "Solids," and the black "8" ball. In contrast to the numbered balls, the white soccer ball is equipped with reduced bounce behavior.

Just like a billiards table, soccer billiards also requires rails. Indoors, these could be existing gymnastics benches, while outdoors, beer benches or similar options can be used. Depending on the desired level of difficulty, the "pockets" can be larger or smaller. The size of the playing field can also vary according to skill level. With ball control, precision, and strategy, the goal is to pocket the balls in the cutouts in Soccerpool.

The balls, made of high-quality training soccer ball material, are hand-stitched from high-gloss-coated PU. The air pressure of the balls can be regulated using a ball pump with a needle valve. The synthetic butyl bladder ensures long-lasting air pressure.
