Sanctband® Flossband Set
The terms "flossing" or "floss band" were until recently known only to a few athletes and therapists in the field of powerlifting, weightlifting, and cross training in Germany, where athletes wrap or bandage their limbs.
In collaboration with the renowned sports physiotherapist Sven Kruse, we have developed these floss bands with different resistance levels and 3 different band widths based on his EASYFLOSSING concept. During flossing, the approximately 2m long floss band is wrapped tightly and firmly around the body part and joint to be treated, at approximately 4-7 times the thickness of a medium-sized exercise band.
Flossing accelerates the regeneration of various injuries and releases tissue adhesions. By applying pressure to the muscles with the help of the floss band in various ways, the entire process is ideally performed with movement of the wrapped limb. This results in the following benefit: Different exercises can be performed under compression, which relieves the affected tissue and/or joint. When the floss band is then released, the congestion is also relieved and the tissue is flushed out.

- Wieso 4 verschiedene Bandstärken?
- Durch die unterschiedlichen Widerstandswerte lassen sich spezifische Applikationswerte erzeugen und die verschieden tiefen Gewebeschichten differenziert erreichen. In der Intensität spezifisch angepasste Therapieserien sind ebenso möglich. Außerdem kann so den unterschiedlichen Toleranzgrenzen der Patienten Rechnung getragen werden. Dicke der Flossbänder: Grün: 1,1 mm; Blau: 1,3 mm; Violett: 1,6 mm; Grau: 1,8 mm.
- Wieso 3 verschiedene Bandbreiten?
- Diese 4 unterschiedlichen Bandstärken gibt es nicht nur in der Standardbreite von 5 cm, sondern auch als schmale (2,5 cm) und breite (7,5 cm) Version. Dies erlaubt ein differenziertes Applizieren an unterschiedlich großen Gelenken oder Körperteilen (Hände, Füße, Knie, Ellbogen, Hüfte, Thorax).
