The Swedish athletics specialist Nordic Sport has been classifying its javelins based on fax numbers instead of throwing distance since 2012. Flex numbers indicate the hardness of the javelins. The rule is: the smaller the number, the harder the javelin.

- 500 g: 200.5-201.5 cm; 506-515 g; ø shaft 22.7 mm, flex 8.8
- 600 g: 220.5-221.5 cm; 606-615 g; ø shaft 24.7 mm, flex 8.8
- 700 g: 230.5-231.5 cm; 706-715 g; ø shaft 26.7 mm, flex 8.3
