How is Korbball played?

The aim in Korfball is to throw more baskets as a team than the opposing team - pretty much the same as in basketball. However, the two sports differ considerably. The most important difference: The Korfball player plays without a backboard behind the basket - the goal must therefore be hit accurately. Through the rules of steps and bouncing, solo runs are heavily restricted by dribbling. In return, teamwork takes on an above-average importance. Passing, catching, running, and shooting are the most important technical elements and foundations of every Korfball game. These can be practiced and implemented playfully from an early age.
