The special sandwich construction with additional edge stabilization. Upper side made of durable, skin-friendly carpet covering. Edges and underside made of reinforced, non-slip coated gymnastics mat fabric. The overall construction creates a large depression basin during low-level vaulting, which allows for easy corrections in stance. The lightweight design allows for large individual mats, resulting in only a few impact surfaces.
