Kübler Sport® Dragonskin® Softball SOFTI

The lightweight and soft softballs are particularly popular with children because they have a high playability and catching and throwing is pleasant and completely free of risk of injury. In addition, the typical "Dragonskin" PU coating is washable and disinfectable, making it particularly hygienic. If sweat from fitness, passing, or shooting exercises gets on the ball, it can be quickly and easily cleaned without leaving any residue on the ball. That's why the durable softballs are frequently found in schools and kindergartens. If the ball is squashed or crumpled, it quickly returns to its original shape. Due to the reduced bounce, the balls are also commonly used as methodology balls for various sports.

Is the ball inflatable?

No, the ball has a foam core and is therefore not air-filled. It can be easily compressed and still quickly returns to its original shape.

Can the ball be used in water?

No, the ball is not suitable for water. The foam core soaks up water and usually becomes deformed and damaged afterwards.

Can the ball be used outdoors?

No. Although the softball is more durable than open-pored foam balls without coating due to its coating, it will not withstand rough surfaces such as asphalt or grass for long.

Why is this softball more hygienic than comparable softballs?

Due to the typical "elephant skin" PU coating, the softball can be washed and disinfected after use. The coating prevents the foam from absorbing dirt and bacteria.
