Kübler Sport® Dragonskin® Soft-Handball GRIP

The Dragonskin® powered by Kübler Sport Handball GRIP is the ideal entry-level and methodology ball for young handball players. The special feature is the unique surface, which is much stickier compared to conventional elephant skin coating. Thanks to the innovative construction, this foam ball can be thrown and caught very easily. This helps children and beginners to learn the basic techniques in handball. The ball with a diameter of 15 cm is slightly smaller than a size 0 handball, and the model with a diameter of 13.2 cm is slightly smaller than a size 0.0 handball. In addition, the balls are significantly lighter in weight due to the foam core compared to conventional handballs in the mini handball sizes. This also minimizes the risk of injury. With its bright red color, the methodology handball is also very visible.

Is the ball inflatable?

No, the ball has a foam core and is not air-filled. It can be easily compressed and quickly returns to its original shape.

Can the ball be used in water?

No, the ball is not suitable for water. The foam core absorbs water, which usually results in deformation and damage.

Can the ball be used outdoors?

No. Although the soft ball is more durable than open-cell foam balls without coating due to its coating, it will not withstand rough surfaces like asphalt or grass for long.

Why is this soft ball more hygienic than comparable soft balls?

Thanks to its typical "elephant skin" PU coating, the soft ball can be washed and disinfected after use. The coating prevents the foam from absorbing dirt and bacteria.
