These weight plates offer a simple and effective solution for tipping protection of IHF handball goals, especially in sports halls where floor anchoring is not possible—that is, when no floor fixing was planned in advance or no subsequent floor work is possible or desired. The plates do not require drilling or anchoring into the hall floor; they are simply placed on the floor and positioned so that the net brackets of the handball goal can be attached to one plate each. The weight plates themselves weigh 50 kg and do not slip even during use of the handball goal.

The plates are powder-coated in colour according to customer preference, usually in an RAL shade similar to the respective hall floor, so the weights do not stand out too much. The powder coating also serves as corrosion protection, which, while not as essential indoors as outdoors, is very advantageous for metal parts that are regularly moved, pushed, or scraped, as it prevents rust formation on stressed areas.
