These weight plates provide a simple and effective solution for stabilizing IHF handball goals, especially in sports halls without the possibility of floor anchoring, for cases where no prior floor fixation was considered or where subsequent floor work is not possible or desired. The plates do not require drilling or anchoring in the hall floor; they are simply placed on the floor and positioned so that the net rods of the handball goal can be attached to each plate. The weight plates, weighing 50 kg each, provide their own stability and do not slip even with use of the handball goal.

Depending on customer preference, the plates are powder-coated in various colors, usually in an RAL color tone similar to the respective hall floor to prevent the weights from standing out too much. The powder coating also serves as corrosion protection, which may not be as critical indoors as outdoors, but is advantageous for metal parts that are regularly moved, pushed, or grazed to prevent rust formation in areas under stress.
