Blue Goal® Youth Soccer Goal

Reduction of CO₂ emissions, use of renewable energy, and 34% recycled aluminum - the Blue Goal® youth soccer goal promotes environmental awareness and sustainability. Additionally, due to the high-quality materials used, it is extremely stable and durable. The goals are partially welded, consisting of individual components, making them more efficient to transport, which in turn reduces costs and emissions. The manufacturing process intentionally avoids using an anodized finish, which saves energy-intensive work steps. For goals with a ground frame, a suitable ground anchoring system should be chosen, which is attached to the ground posts, making the profile size of 80 x 80 mm essential (e.g., F1968). With this corresponding ground anchoring system, the goal is certified according to EN 748 and safety tested.

Features

  • Goal size: 5 x 2 m
  • Construction: Aluminum cast corner joint
  • Material: Aluminum (34% recycled content)
  • Surface: Natural aluminum
  • Net attachment: Plastic net holder H+
  • Net brackets: Ø 40 mm, rigid
  • Goal depth at the bottom: 120 cm

Safety Note

The Blue Goal® in both versions with ground tube (F2301, F2302) only complies with the standard for stability of free-standing soccer goals EN 748 in conjunction with a suitable ground anchoring and has been safety tested. Therefore, we recommend using the ground anchoring for embedding F1979 or the ground anchors for screwing in F1968 for the ground bars with the profile 80 x 80 (1 set = 2 pieces for 1 goal).

Which goal is best suited for public areas?

In principle, football goals should always be secured against tipping over in accordance with DIN EN 748 "Playing field equipment – Football goals – Functional and safety requirements." The standard classifies goals into four types based on their construction and size. Types 3 "Freestanding football goal with ground fixings" and 4 "Freestanding football goal with counterweight" are best suited for public spaces. They offer increased stability, durability, easier maintenance, and better protection against theft compared to goals fixed in ground sockets (Types 1 and 2). Goals that are only installed in ground sockets can slip or tip over more easily under heavy loads. They require more frequent maintenance and can be pulled out of the ground more easily, which encourages vandalism and theft. It is important to ensure that installation is carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions and that regular maintenance is performed to guarantee user safety.

What does "Natural Aluminium Surface" mean on the football goal?

"Natural Aluminium" refers to an untreated aluminium surface that is neither coated, painted, nor anodised. The visible surface corresponds to the raw state of the material and has the typical silvery matte colour. Corrosion protection is provided solely by the naturally forming oxide layer of the aluminium. Unlike steel, aluminium does not rust even in its untreated state, making it very suitable for outdoor use.
