Dart arrows create a "knocking sound" when hitting the dartboard, which can be perceived as very disturbing in one's own environment or by the neighbor. Together with sound insulation experts, Karella® has now developed the perfect solution to almost completely eliminate the noise.

The 2-piece Karella® sound insulation consists of a sound insulation core on which the steel dart dartboard is attached, and a surrounding sound insulation ring. Both parts are made of millions of highly specialized sound insulation fibers. The interaction between the sound insulation core and the surrounding sound insulation ring achieves almost complete decoupling of the noise. When the dart arrow hits, the dull knocking sound is transmitted to the entire fiber board via the back of the dartboard. Professional measurements have shown a noise reduction of over 80% in the dart room as well as in adjacent rooms. The measured values were below 30 dB, thus leaving the legal night rest undisturbed, 100%.

The anthracite-colored Karella® sound insulation covers an area of 12 cm around the dartboard with its size and is therefore also ideal as a surround (catch ring) due to its material composition. This dual benefit makes the purchase of the sound insulation even more economical. The fiber material is tested for harmful substances according to Öko-Tex, without any chemical additives. Odorless and environmentally friendly. The sound insulation is very dimensionally stable and therefore very robust and durable, as it is almost wear-free.
