The hollow chamber system with combined polyether foam ridges ensures a soft landing by faster deflation, ideal for higher jumps. Directly on the hollow chamber system lies an additional foam core, approximately 10 cm thick. This, also known as a wear or spike mat, protects the main blocks from the spike nails and can be replaced cost-effectively after prolonged use. The spike protection mat is secured by plastic snap locks, allowing it to be flipped over.

The cover of the high jump system Aero-WM Type B is made of PVC tarpaulin fabric with tear-resistant Trevira fabric reinforcement. Additionally, a intermediate floor made of PVC tarpaulin fabric is sewn above the hollow chamber system, creating improved rain protection. The wear or spike mat is equipped with PVC-coated grid fabric on the top and bottom. The wear mat is fastened using a plastic clamp buckle system, allowing it to be flipped over as well.
