The heat carrier filled with paraffin is used in heat therapy and must be heated in a hot air oven.

The Fango paraffin is very solid in its original form. By heating it, the material becomes liquid and can be molded onto the patient. The paraffin heat carrier with the paraffin filling is particularly easy to mold. The heat carriers are most effective when combined with a natural peat pack or a peat pack.

Kübler Sport Tips for Using Heat Packs

The paraffin heat carriers are heated in the hot air oven at 50 - 60 degrees Celsius. The paraffin inside becomes liquid and the heat carrier can be used in combination with a natural moor pack. Please note that the outer film is heat resistant up to a maximum of 80 degrees Celsius.

For optimal heating, we recommend heating the heat carriers in the APS 18N hot air oven (T3256). This method of heating ensures that the heat carrier retains heat very well. To prevent the patient and the heat carrier from cooling down too quickly, we recommend using Fango blankets or a Fango towel.
