The BLUE FLAME is the official game ball in blind football and therefore also meets the standards of the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA). The ball, made of PU, has a reduced bounce behavior similar to futsal balls and low rebound, but weighs more than conventional soccer balls, making it much easier to play for the target group.
Furthermore, the ball includes 6 noise elements that generate a rattling sound, allowing players on the field to always know where the ball is located.

How to play blind football?

Blind football is played with four outfield players (all blind or severely visually impaired) and one sighted goalkeeper. The ball contains rattles so it can be heard. The game is played on a field measuring 20 × 40 m with boards on the sides. Players orient themselves through sound, calling out, and instructions from three guides: the goalkeeper, coach, and a coach behind the opponent's goal. A match lasts 2 × 20 minutes, with modified FIFA rules applying. All players wear a blindfold to ensure equal conditions.
