The Hammer Throw

Hammer throw is a throwing discipline in athletics. A hammer throw consists of three essential parts: metal head, wire, and handle.
Men throw a hammer with a weight of 7.260 kg. The hammer head must have a diameter between 110mm and 130mm, and the length, measured from the inside of the handle, is a maximum of 1215mm.
Women throw a hammer with a weight of 4 kg. Here, the maximum length is 1195mm, and the head must have a diameter between 95mm and 110mm.
