Exercises with the gymnastics rod
Gymnastics sticks offer a variety of possibilities for sports and gymnastics. The gymnastics stick can be used, for example, to strengthen the back, arm, and shoulder muscles.
Exercise 1: Sit upright on a chair, hold the gymnastics stick with both hands at the ends, and hold it vertically above your head. With a straight back, lean your upper body forward and alternately move from right to left.
Exercise 2: Hold the gymnastics stick horizontally in front of you with both hands at shoulder-width distance. Alternately try to push the stick together or pull it apart.
