Exercises with the gymnastics rod

Gymnastic bars offer versatile options for sports and gymnastics. The gymnastic bar can be used, for example, to strengthen the back, arm, and shoulder muscles.
Exercise 1: Sit upright on a chair, hold the gymnastic bar with both hands at the ends, and hold it vertically above your head. Lean the upper body forward with a straight back and move it alternately from right to left.
Exercise 2: Hold the gymnastic bar with both hands at shoulder-width distance, horizontally in front of you. Alternately try to push the gymnastic bar together or pull it apart.
