The magic rope is a popular training tool for group gymnastics and can be used while standing, walking, or sitting. The gymnastics circle is suitable for children, adults, and seniors, and is also recommended for people with disabilities. The participants form a circle; the magic circle is also laid out in a circular shape.

Exercise Examples
The following exercises can be performed with the magic circle, for example:
- Pass the cord in the circle to the right and left, also to music
- Lift individual body parts, e.g. knee or foot, and touch the cord
- Alternate stretching the magic circle upwards towards the ceiling or down to the feet
- Place cardboard rolls, rings, or similar on the cord and pass them along
- Lay the magic circle on the floor and hop over it: forwards, backwards, on one leg
