Pure paraffin is used as an additive in the production of mud packs. It is mixed with the mud pack and then heated in a mud mixer.

However, the paraffin mixture can also be heated in paraffin baths and used as a therapy supply for heat therapy. Hands, feet, and joints are dipped into paraffin baths and treated with various exercises.

T3262 - Pure paraffin, melting point: 40-42 degrees
T3261 - Pure paraffin, melting point: 50-52 degrees

Proper Application of Paraffin
The two variations have different melting points. For heating in a paraffin bath, the paraffin with a melting point of 40-42 °C should be ordered. The paraffin is applied directly to the skin and should therefore not be used too hot.

The paraffin with a melting point of 50-52 °C is suitable for adding to mud packs and is added directly to the mud mixer. This gives the mixture a different consistency.

For easier dosing, the hard paraffin DAB 10 is delivered in plates. The mixture can be reused up to 30 times in mud pack applications. Please note that the mixture should be heated to 130 °C for hygienic reasons.

Applications: For hand exercises and for symptomatic heat radiation treatment of rheumatic pain, circulatory disorders, and neuralgia. The mass can be reused up to 30 times. The prerequisite for this is a heat treatment after each use at 130 °C. The time required for this depends on the processing device used and requires careful monitoring by the user.
