Erler-Zimmer Stages of Intervertebral Disc Damage

This model is an advanced tool designed for medical education and patient education. It is intended to help the user gain a deeper understanding of the structure and function of the human intervertebral discs.

This model consists of 4 pairs of lumbar vertebrae and displays not only the healthy state but also three pathologies: mild disc damage, disc herniation with bone deformation, severe disc damage with significant bone deformation. The vertebral pairs are magnetically attached to the plexiglass base and are easily removable. The vertebral pairs are flexibly connected, allowing for movements to be demonstrated.
