The durable handball FLASH by ERIMA® is the ideal choice for regular use in team training. As a training version of the FLASH ELITE match ball, it convinces with a long-lasting PU outer material that can withstand intense use. The specially developed backing foam, the foam lamination between the outer material and the ball bladder, gives the ball a pleasantly soft playing feel, while the high-quality latex bladder ensures optimal rebound. Additionally, the grippy surface offers secure grip - even during sweaty training sessions or when playing with resin.

Was ist der Unterschied von Bällen, die mit Harz gespielt werden und Bällen die ohne Harz gespielt werden?: Die IHF hat in den Ballregularien neu aufgesetzt, wie groß die jeweiligen Bälle mit und ohne Harz sein sollen. Dabei sind die Bälle ohne Harz in allen Größen deutlich kleiner und etwas leichter. Dadurch kann der Ball besser geworfen und gefangen werden, auch ohne die Verwendung von Harz. Zusätzlich bietet die Oberfläche der harzfreien Bälle besondere Eigenschaften, die das Greifen vereinfachen sollen. Die Oberfläche kann beispielsweise wasserabsorbierend oder mit stärkeren, griffigeren Konturrillen versehen sein. Zusätzlich können manche Bälle mit geringerem Luftdruck gespielt werden, wodurch ein tieferes Einsinken der Fingerspitzen möglich ist, ohne dass das Prellverhalten negativ beeinflusst wird. Die besondere Beschaffenheit der Oberfläche bedeutet allerdings auch, dass eine Nutzung von Harz den Ball erheblich schädigen würde.
