Our Elastic Base Layer, also known as an alternative to asphalt layer, is a high-quality, bound, elastic base layer (ET layer) that is ideal as a substructure for various sports surfaces. It consists of a mixture of stone and elastomer granules, bonded together by an elastic polyurethane binder. Depending on the mixing ratio, it can be executed in the hardness levels of hard, medium-hard, or medium-soft. This versatile base layer is excellent for artificial turf surfaces in soccer, hockey, and rugby, tennis courts, as well as jogging tracks. Furthermore, as a substructure for EPDM multi-sport surfaces, it meets the requirements of DIN 18035-6, Tables 6 & 7.
