Edelrid® Safety & Descending Device Mega Jul
Versatile belay and rappel device from Edelrid. Robust design made of abrasion-resistant stainless steel casting for long life. Suitable for securing the lead climber, one or two followers, and for rappelling. Minimal weight of 65 g due to optimal shaping and careful selection of materials. The particularly high braking effect assists the belayer in catching falls in lead climbing mode. With an additional loop for easy unlocking of the device in follow mode using a carabiner. Faster rope payout in lead climbing is possible by keeping the device open with the thumb. For ropes with a diameter of 7.8 to 10.5 mm.

The MEGA JUL belay device by Edelrid is produced in Germany and certified according to DIN EN 15151-2. It is suitable for top rope and lead climbing in indoor climbing gyms or outdoor climbing areas.
