Was bedeutet das DB in der Bezeichnung?

DB ist die Abkürzung für Dual Bonded. Das ist eine Technologie zur Herstellung von Fußbällen.Die Einzelteile der Ballhülle, die Panels, werden zuerst manuell zusammengenäht und im Anschlussmit einem Spezialkleber versiegelt (Bonding). Dadurch verringert sich die Wasseraufnahme der Nähte, der Ball ist gleichmäßiger für ein angenehmes Ballgefühl, robuster und bleibt länger rund.
