Derbystar® Football CLUB S-Light 290

The training football for the youth sector impresses with its robust construction and a pleasant ball feel. The matte textured PU surface ensures optimal control and good playing characteristics during training and youth matches. Thanks to the dual-bonded construction, a combination of gluing and stitching, the ball offers high shape stability and long durability. The light football is also optimally designed for playing on artificial turf. The wrapped butyl bladder additionally guarantees reliable air retention and consistent playing properties. With its reduced weight of approx. 290 g, the ball is especially suitable for Bambini as well as E- and F-youth players.

What does Dual Bonded mean?

DB stands for Dual Bonded. This is a technology used in the manufacture of footballs. The individual parts of the ball cover, the panels, are first manually stitched together and then sealed with a special adhesive (bonding). This reduces water absorption at the seams, makes the ball more uniform for a pleasant ball feel, more durable, and helps it keep its shape longer.
