Derbystar® Soccer Ball Brillant APS

The game ball Brillant APS by Derbystar® is not only available in classic white (item number F17680) but also in this version in white / gold / silver. The soccer ball is made of high-quality PU microfiber, the backing of the outer material is made of 100% recycled polyester, and it is hand-sewn from 32 panels. This makes the seams particularly durable and long-lasting. In addition, the zero-wing bladder made of natural latex ensures sustainable roundness and optimal playing characteristics. Due to the diamond-like structure on the surface, the ball has an even more precise flight behavior and lively bounce.

What does APS mean in the designation?

APS stands for Advanced Performance System. This is how derbystar® football match balls are identified. They feature an optimized ball construction for better balance, more consistent air pressure, and a more precise playing feel.

What is a zero-wing bladder?

The inside of the football, the bladder, is usually made of natural latex in this version, sometimes coated with a thin layer of butyl or constructed in multiple layers. It has no rubber wings that connect to the outer cover, as was common in the past, but is uniformly round.
