Derbystar® Soccer APUS TT DB

The Derbystar® football Apus TT DB is the perfect training ball for effective training sessions. The hand-sewn construction, high-quality polyurethane, and special lamination ensure a soft ball touch, high durability, and optimal playing characteristics. The wrapped butyl bladder has been improved compared to the previous model. The synthetic rubber has high air retention and extra shape stability due to the optimized thread winding. The APUS TT DB meets high quality standards for training balls and is therefore also certified with the FIFA Basic stamp. Due to its high resilience, the football is also perfect for artificial turf pitches.

Furthermore, the ball is available in different colors, so you can choose it to match your team's colors. In addition, the colors are glossy and highly visible, making the training ball easy to see in sessions during dusk or in bad weather conditions.

What does the TT in the name mean?

TT stands for Team Training. This is how derbystar® marks their training footballs, making them immediately distinguishable from match balls.

What does Dual Bonded mean?

DB stands for Dual Bonded. It is a technology used in the manufacture of footballs. The individual panels of the ball cover are first sewn together manually and then sealed with a special adhesive (bonding). This reduces water absorption at the seams, makes the ball more consistent for a better feel, more durable, and helps it retain its round shape longer.

What is a butyl bladder?

The interior of the football in this version is made from butyl, a synthetic rubber. This material retains air extremely well even under heavy use, heat, friction, and moisture. It is firm and shape-stable, so the ball rarely needs to be re-inflated.
