The Beluga® sand vests distribute weight and pressure evenly across the muscle and pressure sensors, leading to a significant increase in cognitive performance.

The pressure sand vests are especially suitable for children with concentration difficulties, mild sensory processing disorders, and muscular hypotonia. Thanks to their stretchability, the vest is worn snugly against the body. The resulting pressure and light weight stimulate muscles and nerve pathways. The nerve pathways inform the brain about the new situation, prompting the brain to build up and balance muscle tone in the torso. Wearing the vest gives a feeling of security, similar to a firm hug.

While classic therapy vests provide a rigid/firm hold and considerably more weight, the pressure sand vests are lighter and can be worn flexibly and softly. Unlike the Hugi vest, the pressure sand vest dispenses with different colours, a hood, and a zipper.
