Beluga® Pressure Sand Vest

The Beluga pressure vests distribute weight and pressure evenly on muscle and stress sensors, leading to a significant increase in cognitive performance.

The pressure vests are particularly suitable for children with concentration problems, mild sensory disorders, and muscular hypotonia. Thanks to their stretchability, the vest fits snugly against the body. The resulting pressure and light weight stimulate muscles and nerve pathways. The nerve pathways inform the brain about the new situation, prompting the brain to build and balance muscle tone in the torso. Wearing the vests gives a feeling of security, similar to a firm hug.

While the classic therapy vests provide a rigid support and have significantly more weight, the pressure vests require less weight and can be worn flexibly and softly. Unlike the Hugi vest, the pressure vest does not feature different colors, a hood, or a zipper. With its three buckles, it can be adjusted flexibly, making it suitable for multiple children. Due to its stretchability, the vest can be comfortably worn over regular clothing. Generally, the vest has a small fit in order to generate enough pressure when worn.
