The SuperNova is a ready-to-use and highly concentrated marking paint, strongly reflective, low in emissions, and dilutable with water. It is used for temporary line marking of sports fields with natural and artificial turf surfaces. It offers very good adhesion to air-dried grass and excellent visibility in rainy conditions. The paint is particularly suitable for all marking systems with hollow cone nozzles because not all marking paints are compatible with all types of nozzles. Hollow cone nozzles are commonly used in line marking robots or high-end systems to ensure a uniform line pattern without splatters or gaps. Due to the very fine, uniform spray mist, the nozzle is sensitive to thick or coarsely pigmented paint and any related clumping or viscosity outside the tolerance range. The SuperNova turf marking paint contains very fine filler materials and pigments, is low in viscosity, and is ready for use, making it compatible with all marking systems that use hollow cone nozzles.
Before use, the container should be shaken well. No dilution with water is necessary. Depending on the grass conditions, leaf moisture, and the user's technique, 2 to 5 liters are needed per soccer field.
The drying time depends on the processing temperature and humidity level and is approximately 2 hours. A relative humidity of >90%, especially in combination with low temperatures, can significantly affect drying time and quality characteristics.
