The game board cushion made of strong PE foam reliably protects the athlete in school and club sports from injuries that can occur at the lower edges of a basketball backboard. The edge cushions, manufactured in one piece, have a U-profile groove in the respective thickness of the basketball board. The corners of the cushions are cut at a miter for a perfect fit and easy installation. The cushions are designed for 180 cm wide backboards. From the total length of 261 cm, this results in a coverage of 180 cm of the lower edge and 40 cm on each side of the backboard.
We recommend equipping basketball backboards, especially in school sports, with a backboard cushion to prevent possible injuries. Padding of the backboards is mandatory in official basketball games. The installation is very simple, only a suitable adhesive is required.
