Aktimed® TAPE PLUS is a kinesiological tape bandage with integrated highly purified plant extracts from Arnica montana, Rhus toxicodendron, and Ruta graveolens - patented.
The main effects of conventional kinesiological tape are optimally supported by the pain-relieving, swelling-reducing, and blood circulation-promoting properties of the plant extracts directly at the site of treatment.
When using Aktimed® TAPE PLUS, the additional administration of pain-relieving/swelling-reducing preparations can be reduced or even completely avoided. Unlike most tapes that have an acrylic adhesive, Aktimed® TAPE PLUS uses a synthetically produced rubber adhesive in an innovative wave form. Unlike natural rubber, this adhesive is free of allergenic protein compounds and latex-free. Furthermore, it quickly reaches its full adhesive strength compared to the acrylic adhesive.
