AIREX® Gymnastics Mat Xtrema

The AIREX® Xtrema Gymnastics Mat is the most durable mat in the AIREX® range and was developed for demanding training conditions. The high-density foam offers particularly high firmness and resilience, allowing the mat to be used on rocky ground, gravel paths, or at the beach. Regardless of the weather conditions, the Xtrema is ideal for functional outdoor training, boot camps, personal training, and professional fitness applications. At the same time, it is lightweight, compact, and versatile.

Why does the mat have a white coating on the underside?

The apparent coating on the underside is talcum powder. Talcum is used as a release agent during the manufacturing process for all AIREX® mats. As a result, a very thin residue may remain on the underside. This residue can simply be wiped off with a damp cloth before first use.

What is the best way to clean the Airex mat?

For cleaning, use a soft sponge or soft cloth with lukewarm soapy water. After cleaning, allow the mat to dry thoroughly in the air before storing it.

Does the mat need to be disinfected after each use?

No, AIREX® products have an integrated antimicrobial Sanitized® hygiene function that protects the material from odours, bacteria, and mould.
