AIREX® Atlas

The AIREX® Atlas is the largest mat in our product range. Thanks to its right-angled cut, the AIREX® Atlas can be laid seamlessly over large areas. The material properties and thickness of 1.5 cm correspond to the best-selling Corona and Coronella products. It prevents sinking to the ground, even with point loads. When used in the water, the AIREX® Atlas provides optimal support for all conceivable therapy forms and encourages creative water activities.

Why does the mat have a white coating on the underside?

The supposed coating on the underside is talcum powder. Talcum is used as a separating agent during the manufacturing process of all AIREX® mats. Therefore, a very thin residue layer may remain on the underside. This residue can easily be wiped off with a damp cloth before first use.

How do I best clean the Airex mat?

For cleaning, use a soft sponge or soft cloth with lukewarm soapy water. After cleaning, allow the mat to dry thoroughly in the air before storing it.

Does the mat need to be disinfected after each use?

No, AIREX® products have an integrated antimicrobial Sanitized® hygiene function, which protects the material from odours, bacteria, and mould.
