In the 2026/27 season, the legendary adidas® match ball TORFABRIK returns, delivering thrilling moments and sensational goals in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga once again. The design is a tribute to German football culture: black, red, and gold. The graphics on the match ball reflect the energy of the stands, packed stadiums, and pure passion.
This official match ball, used by the professionals themselves, guarantees consistent playing characteristics and meets the strictest FIFA testing standards. The ball’s cover is seamlessly manufactured using Thermal Bonding, made from 100% PU, and features a textured surface with grooves for perfect flight behaviour. Water and dirt absorption are also minimal thanks to this construction. The high-quality bladder made of butyl reliably maintains air pressure and ensures precise rebound.

What is a butyl bladder?

The inside of the football in this version is made from butyl, a synthetic rubber. The material retains air extremely well, even under heavy use, heat, friction, and moisture. It is firm and shape-stable, so the ball rarely needs to be reinflated.

What are the advantages of thermal bonding technology?

The ball panels are machine-bonded thermally instead of sewn. Thermal bonding means "connected with heat (and pressure)." This creates a seamless surface that is more durable and shape-stable than sewn balls. Additionally, they lose less air and do not absorb water through seams.
